It's Easy to Add Paging
to Your Masking System
As companies try to stretch their budget dollars, Lencore offers a masking system that really makes sense. The unique features of our system enable the same set of speakers that produce the masking within the space, to also support a quality paging system vastly superior to conventional paging systems. The system is completely non-directional and the uniformity of the sound gently surrounds you and insures that there are no abrupt starts or stops to the page.
All of Lencore’s sound masking systems can easily provide paging and music with a few simple additions — virtually giving you three systems (masking, paging and music) for the price of one!
Unlike conventional paging and music systems, our systems will not produce “hot” spots, where the sound is too loud, or cold spots, where the sound is too low. The most important and differentiating quality of our system is that the paging/music can be independently adjusted from the masking – a key quality when you need to make special considerations throughout a space. Lencore’s paging smoothly overrides the masking sound, to deliver a crisp and clear page.
Our networked systems can easily incorporate paging and music by adding our product Music Page Interface (MPI). With the MPI there is no need for additional cable home-runs, amplifiers, separate equalizers, special switching equipment or matching vendors for compatible product interfaces. In fact, the MPI technology is so sophisticated that it can make zone additions, modifications, deletions and other changes to the paging system on the fly, without rewiring. This eliminates the need for running multiple home runs back to the electrical closet or through building risers to create separate or additional zones.
When connected to the Lencore’s networked systems, the MPI provides the ability to program up to 100 zones including an all call/emergency broadcast page, using standard DTMF tones through a POTS telephone wire. The system is also programmed for all call and emergency broadcast paging. The system’s easy to use full one octave band equalizer can be adjusted to either individual zones or can be adjusted for all zones and provides exceptional fine tuning capabilities.
To add paging to Lencore's other systems, simply add an amplifier. All call paging, zoned paging, voice over IP, paging through phone system, security and life safety page; all can be done through these systems.
In addition, if you would like to have the ability to add music through the speakers for special occasions or in public areas like cafeterias, audio equipments can be added for this option.
